  • After work today I did a 45 minute Power Zone endurance ride on my Peloton. It was nice to do something different than my usual rides. My plan is to run before work tomorrow morning. I have an appt to cover the grey after work. And as the mother of 4 teenagers (all of which are driving age) I have a lot of grey to cover up :)

  • Was going to workout right after work, but my husband texted me and asked if I wanted to go to the gym when he got home. I decided to wait and go with him. Got a good weight trading session in. Peloton ride on the schedule for tomorrow.

  • A bit of active recovery for me today. I did a 30 minute low impact Peloton ride today. Went to Costco yesterday and got groceries to set myself up for the week. 3lbs down so far. I’m sure a few of those are cutting back on Diet Coke and drinking more water, but I will take it and continue to build off that progress. Keep it up everyone!!!

  • Today I got my run in. I had to convince myself to get to the gym. Thankfully I don’t have a lot planned so I had the luxury of having a piece of toast and taking a few minutes to wake up. The past few weeks, I haven’t been able to run without taking walk breaks. Today I was able to run continuously, except 2 water sip breaks. I can’t run and drink at the same time. It’s not pretty. Now to head out grocery shopping and hopefully get home before the snow starts.

  • Saw someone else make a similar salad and it looked rather tasty. It’s quinoa, cucumbers, yellow pepper, tomatoes, feta, imitation crab, and dressed with a light Italian dressing. So tasty and a nice light dinner

  • I actually forced myself to get out of bed and get my workout in. Now after I run an errand after work, I am able to enjoy the rest of the night. Tomorrow will be a rest day for me. But my husband and I are planning on doing a lantern hike. Thankfully it won’t be freezing temps.

  • The plan was to run before work. I didn’t sleep well at all last night and woke up with the worst caffeine withdrawal headache, so I decided to see how I felt after work. Thankfully the headache went away and I was able to get my run in. Weight training is on the schedule for tomorrow morning.

  • Didn’t sleep well last night so I decided to sleep in and get my workout in after work. Got a 45 minute ride in on my Peloton. Hoping to be able to get up and get a run in before work tomorrow since I have an appt after work. Since I started tracking my food, I realize how much snacking in between meals that I did. Trying to be mindful in my eating and not snack out of boredom.

  • I work in a school, so today was my first day back to work after a 2 week break. I normally workout in the morning, but I had a hard time getting going this morning. I had enough time after work before I have to take my daughter to her appt to get some strength training in. I had surgery about 18 months ago for a fracture of the neck of my femur. I was getting some pain in that hip/groin doing 1 leg RDL’s. I only did the one set and decided not to push it. Hoping it’s just tired from going back to work and being on my feet all day. Hope to do a Peloton ride tomorrow morning.
