Hi! My name is Michelle and I'm a fellow player in this game to lose 10% of my body weight and get healthier. Hi Ana! You are doing really great! How did you manage to lose almost 8lbs in just 1 month! I am having a harder and harder time but still my own pace! Hasta luego amiga!

Thanks, Val! I wasn't aware of it until now! I just focus on the week and my goal for the current round :P

I did a lot of research because I was unable to lose weight the first six months of the year. I finally came up with my BMR and TDEE numbers. I try to eat healthy (most of the time) between those numbers and never skip a meal. I also do 90 minutes of cardiovascular exercise 5-6 times per week (I'll start with strength and running when I weight less and there's no danger of injury). Finally, I drink a lot of water.

Be patient and consistent, Val. If you are loosing even at slow pace, it's still very good! :)

I also use my fitness pal, fitbit and a polar monitor. And this dietbet has been a great way to stay on track ;)
