This week has been tricky! As a mom of a 14 year old and graduating high school senior—in addition to a total commute time of 1 hr 45 minutes a day—I’m having a hard time finding time. But yesterday I did some yoga before bed and today I walked around the parking lot while my daughter did her after school class.

  • Welcome everyone, I'm so happy you're here! My name is Jenn, I'll be your host! Kandice is my sister and co-host.

    I like to do weekly challenges as part of our game, it helps to keep the game more interactive and motivating. (Optional of course)

    The first challenge is: The Water Challenge!

    Here is the challenge if you want to participate:
    Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day, Wednesday - Friday! (April 17th - April 19th)

    Starting on Friday there will be a post here, at the top of the game feed, for you to comment under if you completed the challenge. The deadline to report in is Saturday 10:00 PM Pacific Time. The prize drawing will be held on Saturday shortly after that, for the $20 cash prize. Each week the prize amount goes up!

I did so well the first 2 weeks! Went to the gym 4-5 days a week and are healthy. 3rd week I got the flu and 4th week my daughter was in the hospital with meningitis. Maybe next time life will cooperate. Congrats to everyone that made it and those who didnt be proud of the days you were successful!

Weekends are always tricky for me. I need to keep my meal planning for 7 days not just 5

My weight has not changed much this month despite being super consistent with nutrition and exercise. That's very rare for me and a bit frustrating. But, I am staying the course. Not sure I'll make my weigh- in at all unless by some miracle water loss. Which is 3xtra frustrating because in the month before I joined I lost 11 lbs doing the same things I am doing now! And this month I've lost 2-3. :confused: Well, still going down at least.

  • We’re cleaning through things in our home and came across this gem - after finishing one of the earliest successful weight loss efforts I really focused on after we were married - at the time I think I had 10 or 15 pounds to lose 😀

    Somewhere I still have that suit. I remember how great it felt to buy it and wear it. A timely reminder of some benefits of commitment to a healthy lifestyle, circa 1990. Almost a year to the day after this photo my son was born - and my journey began again.

19 years ago I lost 20 lbs at WW and became a lifetime member and my son was born 9 months later. I’ve never been that weight again but I’m closer than ever today!

A healthy lifestyle is definitely a lifelong commitment—and worth it!
