I will eat one big meal, but no booze (which would cause me to constantly snack). Then I'll hop on my rower machine afterwards.

I’m doing the same- one meal with a walk after. I may try to eat a big serving of cucumber and celery before the meal to help fill me up a bit first!

  • It’s workout Wednesday! If you don’t have a workout planned for today, here’s a great one you can do at home!

    What are your favorite workout apps? Can be free or paid. Personally I use FitOn, WayBetter, and Ryse-for tracking. I’ve used Aaptiv in the past and liked it a lot.

I really like the FitBod app. It tells you which weights to use each time and you rate how many more reps you could do so it can adjust for the next time. It also allows you to replace exercises that you can’t do (hello, knees!) and still target the same exercises. It also has you set what equipment you have so that it only recommends exercises using those items or particular weights.

  • Good morning and welcome to week 3! We are halfway through the game and I love seeing all the progress everyone is making!

    When is your preferred time to workout? I have to go first thing in the morning because after work/school just doesn’t work for me. I keep trying and then it just doesn’t happen. So morning it is!

    This week is busy in my house, we have houseguests, school concerts, family obligations, and then getting ready for more houseguests. But I have what I need to do to stay on track! You do too!

I hit my goal early! Excited to commit to making sure it stays off by setting daily step and water goals while focusing on maintaining my nutrition!

  • Good morning and happy Wednesday!

    Today is one of those days where plans didn’t go to plan. So we switch it up and figure it out! Today instead of going to the lake to run like I wanted, I’m hitting the treadmill with a solid stretch to loosen my body up. I always forget how tight my back and shoulders get until I’m stretching regularly.

    How are you making your goals today?

  • Happy Wednesday!! I’m feeling good on this journey so far. How is everyone else doing? I can never be 100% on a “diet” I’m so hard on myself but I’m putting in the work exercising a few days a week also. hoping slow and steady wins the race.
    I get night time craving after dinner for sweets…Anyone have recommendations for a healthy sweet treat?

  • Happy Wednesday!

    I’m celebrating because my favorite running path is open again after 3 months of being closed! They were replacing and widening the path, so worth it overall but it was super sad to not have this place to go to for a bit.

    How are you moving your body today? I got out early before work.
