Curious … how long does it normally take to approve the final weigh in? I made my goal but not by a lot. I feel like if I start drinking coffee and have breakfast they might find some reason for me to have to weigh in again (I did follow the rules). That liquid and food might be enough to put me over.

    I’m Audrey and I’ve been with DietBet for almost 8 years at this point! I love hosting games and getting to know the players on their journey.

    I live in the Midwest along with my husband, 2 kiddos, and a goofy cat who’s always close by. While I’m not fast, I love doing RunDisney events and use those to motivate me to move my body even if I’m not feeling it.

I would love to do a Disney run! Haven't been able to get in the last couple of times, but I keep trying. Also, not a fast runner, not a runner at all, but will do it for Disney!

  • Good morning and welcome to the final Workout Wednesday of the game!

    This morning I was up early to take kiddo 2 to weights so I decided I’d get my workout in early and headed to the lake after I dropped her off. It was hot (it’s fully summer in the Midwest) but I got it done! And I didn’t get chased or hissed at by nesting Canada geese! Winning!

  • Getting outdoors is the best! I went on a long hike Tuesday…8 hours of mostly level woods walking with a bit of a scramble at the end. The best part, diet-wise: my calorie counting app told me I could eat up to 1500 calories for dinner that night!

I have been losing my focus this week. I have 1.3 lb to finish this. I need some motivation. I think some of it is water weight because I have been indulging a bit this week (stress eating) and am up a half lb from my lowest during this. Any inspiration, tough love, advice? Thanks ❤

Stress/boredom eating is the hardest habit to break for sure. We keep lots of fresh fruit around to help when we get the snackies and are trying to not empty the pantry that has all the sugary treats.

Also, making it a point to drink water or move your body when the stress eating hits can help too.
