  • Hi and welcome to The DietBet Kickstarter-Weekly Challenge Series! The game created based on your survey results!

    I'm Audrey and I'll be your host for the game. If we haven't met before, a bit about me is I've been with DietBet for over 7 years now and I love seeing players hit their goals. I'm also married with two kiddos and a cat living in the Midwest.

    My goals for this game are to support all of the amazing players and to keep a solid focus on my nutrition and hydration. This month is going to be wildly busy for our family with new stuff going on each week, so staying on track will be a challenge.

    What to expect with the weekly challenges: Each Monday, I'll pin a new post to the top of the game feed with that week's challenge. To be entered into that week's prize drawing, you must submit 4 photos on the pinned post and you can post 1 photo per day. I will do the drawing once that challenge has closed. All photos must be submitted by 11:59 pm PT on Sunday each week.

    Please share a bit about yourself and your goals here as well! I can't wait to meet all of you and cheer you on!

  • Happy Friday and yay it’s the weekend!!

    Unfortunately I was woken up early by my ever loving cat singing the song of his people at 6 am. He has been threatened within an inch of his life and is now sleeping peacefully on the couch.

    However, it does mean that I got an earlier start to the day than anticipated, SIGH.

    But the protein shake has been had and we are ready to keep consistent and hit some progress this weekend!

  • It’s International Dance Day so today we are swapping out our usual cardio and shaking our tushies instead!

    While it’s based on celebrating the founder of modern ballet, the overall goal is to encourage dance through education and participation. Depending on where you are, there may be activities going on to help you learn some of the history with dance.

    While I’m not looking to dance professionally, or even in a class, I’m going to have fun moving my body today!

  • Good morning and welcome to week 3 of the game! We are officially halfway through the game and it’s awesome to see all the progress being made!

    This week kicks off a busy month in our house so I have to make a plan to keep up my progress. This means meal planning-why do these people insist on eating every day?!- planning my workouts, and making sure I’m staying hydrated. The water bottle is next to me and full, so it’s time to plan the week!

    Weekends are full of adulting here and I’ve already got groceries on the list for today. But it’s also important to make time for yourself while getting your chores done. It will look different for everyone but make sure to take at least 15 minutes per day for you.

    Personally I’ll be heading out to my favorite walking path this weekend to get in some cool sunshine. We had some wild storms last night so the temp has finally dropped! 🎉

    Each week I like to try something a little new, whether it’s a new bodyweight workout or finding a new place to walk/run outside. This week, I’m heading out after work for an easy walk since I’m still recovering from Disney. There’s a walking path through some woods in the middle of town that I’ve been looking forward to checking out.

    Let’s go out and hit the goals, even if we don’t always feel like it!

  • Good morning and welcome to Make a Plan Monday! I’ll be traveling all day but still wanted to touch base!

    Once I get home, I need to plan our meals and my workouts for the week. For me, Mondays and Tuesdays are too busy for gym days so I plan my meals and my hydration for the day. I’ll also plan out my workouts for the week to help stay on track.

I bought a Hidrate Spark bottle to see if that could get me to drink more water. It determined that I need to drink about 25 more ounces daily than I already had set for a goal so that was eye opening. I was traveling for work Sunday thru Tuesday so it was nearly impossible to plan but I chose salads instead of sandwiches and water instead of anything else to drink, which I think was a good start to the week.

Travel makes eating the way you want to so hard!

But yay for figuring out your hydration needs! My aim is always to drink 2 of my big hydroflasks of water each day but I call it a win if I get 1.5.

    This weekend is going to stay busy for me and we are focusing on hydration! We are carrying a water bottle through the parks with us and taking full advantage of the refill stations.

Hello everyone. Nice to meet you all.
I lost my last dietbet because I just didn't pay attention to what I was doing or eating. Hoping for better results this time.
I wondered if anyone has any protein bar options that they enjoy that are sugar free. Looking for a little something like that for keeping in my purse for times when I get hungry but I'm not able to do up a proper meal/snack. Thanks.
