Well, Japan seems ready to take the step of “social distancing” just in time for this challenge to start.. so, hopefully I can figure out how to make this work without the availability of the gym! Good luck, everyone! 頑張ろうー

I'd like to start another transformer, but I'm worried that my gym will close for the Coronavirus. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

You could attempt home workouts with workout dvds, beach body online, exercise games like on Xbox, wii, etc.

That’s what I plan to do now
This pandemic won’t stop me from losing weight this year by the grace of God

Hilary Y.

Go running. Or use in home workout videos.

Use us for support, track what you're eating, and try to be more active than usual. (Which is challenging these days, as I am well aware!).

I’m here for the first time too! Nice to meet u Alex. I’m from the east coast of the US

  • So frustrated i lost over 100 pounds in the 6 months over 30% of my weight and weighed in said i didn't qualify to split the pot. I hit the goal every single round. So mad!! This game is a rip off!

Oh geez, I’m so sorry! If they will let you resubmit then the super hydration idea is a good one, maybe before taking a bm that day, too.

If not, maybe they would let you appeal the decision if you had a doctor’s note saying that you didn’t do anything unhealthy or receive any kind of surgical weight loss procedures.

  • Unfortunately there are limits to how much you can lose overall as well as how much during a single round.

I started this @ 400.5 lbs. After 2 months, I weighed 402.7. At that time I started walking in the morning... every morning. But at that weight my knees finally rebelled. For over 2 weeks I could barely walk. Then, while watching YouTube videos, I came across Intermittent Fasting. I started with a 16/8 routine and have moved to 18/6. I know that not every program works for everyone, but this works for me. My final weigh-in was this morning and approved a short bit later. 359.3 lbs. Yup... I needed to be @ 360.5 and made it with 1.2 lbs. to spare (from the initial 400.5). November 17 @ 402.7, 4 months later (today March 15) @ 359.3. Total loss of 43.4 lbs. Trust me... if I can do it, anyone can. My long-term goal is to get to 185 lbs. And I haven't been under 200 since the late 1980s. My birthday is early October and my next big goal is to be under 300 at that point, something I haven't been at in over 10 years. Short-term and long-term goals and a plan that you can follow. No guilt, just be honest with yourself. Do it for yourself! We CAN do this!!!

WOOHOO!!! You and I are almost the same. I started at 404. I tried to 18/6 and did it for a while, but I was starting to make myself crazy and rebelled with food in not so healthy ways. I went back to 16/8 for my mental health. Almost two years later, I weighed in at 189 this morning. I would like to get to 184, but that may take a while. There are a lot more ups and downs that closer you get to goal. Oddly enough.

Congratulations!A great accomplishment!

83 pounds lost this game, that 53 pounds lighter then i needed to be for weigh in. For the first time ever I have kicked a diets butt. I not slowing down, am hoping to loose another 15 before end of the game.
