I've literally sat in the gym parking lot for a half hour debating if I should go in because my body was telling me no and my mind knew I needed to do it. I repeated the quote "No one will ever regret a workout" and told myself if I went in and I felt horrible about myself afterwards I would never have to workout again. To this day I have never regretted a workout. You are so spot on around body shaming and food shaming oneself. It is the worst baggage to carry around! No one wants to be an abusive relationship with another...why would we want to be in one with ourself? Thanks for your post and honesty, you are motivating and beautiful!
