  • I started using a Halo ring for my steps instead of my watch tracker. I wore both at the same time for a few days and I'm noticing the ring is showing more steps than the watch. Maybe more accurate?

    What do you use to track your steps? Do you have step goals for each day? Move it move it!

  • Good morning and welcome to a new week!

    This week my kiddos are on spring break so the week looks a little different. It just means I have to plan things a little more to make sure I’m getting in my workouts and meal planning for extra people during the day.

    Mondays are the days we make the plan to make it happen! What does your success look like this week?

Continuing the regular workouts and the light dinners (with heavier breakfasts and lunches!) it’s a very busy week for me and I slept terribly last night thinking about it but hopefully it all goes smoothly.

  • I'm very fortunate to live near mountains, so hiking is a fun way for me to get my exercise. I'm not very motivated to go to a gym, but I'm happy to do 5 miles of hiking, which usually translates to about half of a pound of weight loss.

    This is on top of Brush Mountain yesterday, looking toward Mahogany Mountain, just West of Mount Timpanogos in Utah.

I had a super stressful day after I did my weigh-in, but I still got my gallon of water in yesterday. I am currently trying to motivate myself to get in a workout today before I know my mind will say it's too late to do anything.

What motivates everyone to get up off the couch???

My favorite hype song or a workout that is more like a game gets me motivated.

I'm a little worried that you're drinking a gallon of water a day. You could be setting yourself up for a serious electrolyte imbalance, unless you are doing a lot of heavy activity in a hot environment, and consciously replacing lost electrolytes. Good luck with your diet bet!

  • Good morning! It’s workout Wednesday!

    What’s your preferred workout? When the weather is nice, I love to get out to a local park and go for a walk/run around the lake. Something about being out there just helps to reset my brain. But if the weather is gross, like today, I’ll hit the gym for some treadmill time and weights.

Starting the week strong! Packed my breakfast and lunch for work and am taking my daughter for a light jog this evening since the sun sets later and I’m sore from yesterday. How are you all?
