Yours so funny.....& so true...
I've been sayin...& convincing myself,...
we can't give up the things we love...life just doesn't work that way....
There will always be that cake.....chocolate bar.....beer....whatever your weakness is,....
. We need to find balance...
so as.....when we do eat that cake....
we stop at one piece instead of devouring the whole dam thing ;))))

Good luck with the 5 & 10 k's ....I'm sure by the end of this...you'll be doing it ;))

Hey Run! I see you've joined a couple of DB4's before. I think you will find this one is very different. I encourage you to take advantage of the support you can find here in the team. There are many of us that feel the same way - we are/were athletes and truly want to get back to feeling great I our own bodies. And, health is primary. So, keep your eyes peeled, ask lots of questions, ask for support on those tough days and friend lots of people. You will find loads of support. Good Luck! I'm rooting for you!

Those sound like good goals. I have been fast walking for about 6 months and watching the change. The first milestone was when I could get up the hill without stopping. Then it was being able to talk while walking up the hill. Now it's watching my pace and watching the time drop. Maybe I'll aim for some running too!
