I'd like to start 'running', or at least learn how to increase my lung power to not get painfully out of breath after just a few minutes walking. Have had multiple people say couch to 5k, but is there anything for before that? Like, super beginner beginner? I've been on crutches for a few years, stopped using them in November, but can't seem to get my fitness levels any higher

  • This is a really fun couch to 5K app! You can use your own music in conjunction with it and the storyline breaks through. I hate running and actually enjoy it with this. There’s a Reddit for it and everything, also, once you graduate from this app, ZRX is the next one.

I walked as quickly as I could to start. Then I started running one minute per mile then half mile & now running one minute per 3 min but I started with building up my walking

  • Anyone else use a virtual reality headset for exercise?

    I always dreaded going to the gym and found regular exercise boring. But this last year I bought an oculus headset and it's been life changing to say the least. I actually look forward to exercising now 😁🙌

Little reminder to hay-fever sufferers to check the pollen count before heading out... Went for a walk on my lunch break and my face produced more liquid than I had taken in hahaha (and of course I had no tissues with me!)

Absolutely ridiculous workout done... I can't go out today because I'm waiting for a plumber (first called about the problem last August, only just being dealt with now!), so wanted to set up the treadmill. Can't do that, I've injured my wrist. So I've one handed and hip bumped the furniture to one side of the living room, and have walk/jogged from my kitchen to my living room to my hallway to my bedroom and back again. Turns out sixty eight laps in a mile 😂

Yes, yesterday I did a 15-minute treadmill walk which was super hard but I stuck it out. Don't laugh at me! I am in worse shape than I thought.

Hi Ashley, welcome! At the top of the page here, there's a countdown timer. That's how long we have till we need to weigh in. There will be a button that says "Start Weigh in" (or similar, I don't remember!), click that button and follow the instructions. Have pen and paper with you so you can write down the code word, it changes each game
