  • I did it!! Weighed this morning just under goal. I am so proud of myself because my birthday was on Sunday and I was able to enjoy celebrating with family in a way that didn’t make me feel yucky afterwards. I usually feel dreadful after an event like that for a few days because my body is angry about all of the food I’ve eaten (and the type of food I’ve eaten 😅) I ate cake and had snacks but stayed mindful.

Thank you for the positive comment and support! I always find it sad when people gripe about not earning enough “winnings“ on these games, because it makes me feel like they wish most others would fail so they could do better.
I would rather just get my money back, and know that everyone had some success.

I was in two games, one took about 20 minutes to finalize, the other one about 2.5 hours. They probably have lots of referees, and different submissions go to different refs.

Oh Lord! I didn’t even think about that! I submitted my final weight around 10am, it isn’t verified yet, but I’ve had 2 LARGE cups of coffee since… it’s one of those days! ? I have to remember to not eat yet just in case! Thanks for this reminder comment! Lol

Fruit eggs toast, done. Everyone gets excited about it, it’s healthy, and easy peasy.
Pancakes with fruit is also popular! Hashbrowns… You get the idea

Figure out what works for you. I grew up hearing “don’t weigh yourself daily” but I THRIVE on the knowledgr of a daily check in and nothing derails me faster than the not knowing. Figure out what works for you and stick to it.

Calorie deficit tracker! I have tried to lose weight for years thinking I was eating right only to quit when I wasn't seeing results. I finally locked in and actually track what I eat and focus on high protein and fiber and have actually now lost 30 lbs since last August! I also let myself enjoy the holidays but tried to not over indulge and was able to maintain during that time and then got right back on track after new years. It works! I use the lose it app for tracking.

I watched closely what I ate this weekend and no junk!! I got on the scale today and was down 4.2 lbs!! Amazing !! Makes me think how much junk I was eating... cereal, doughnuts, cookies, chips..chocolate lol 😆
