How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • I did it! I ran a 5k today without walking! I'm so excited. I went from not being able to run 1/2 a mile in January to running 3 (albeit very slowly) in June. Next up, running a 5k race!

Also, yup, it is 30%, which for me is about 50 lbs. For this round, the max was 24%, and I've only lost 15%. :) Thanks again for the concern, though. <3

I’m bummed that I gained a couple of pounds since my weigh in last week for another game. I had a great stride going with a kickstarter game, which put me ahead of schedule for this game. I still made weight, but am trying to refocus and keep my momentum.

Ditto keto (or for me just low carb/sugar) and IF. Such a blessing to have found this!

Meal planning & prep is essential for me. Knowing what I'm going to eat, especially if I've already prepared it, makes it easier to say no to unhealthy options! IF has also been a huge help. There are times when I mess up, but it otherwise helps me stay on track.

Increasing my water intake as also helped. It's great for reducing water retention, but it also helps keep my tummy feeling full and prevents me from mistaking thirst for hunger so I don't overeat. ATM I aim for around 100 oz a day, and using the "My Water" app and its hourly reminders have been really useful, too! I don't always stick to just plain water either, but enjoy black iced tea (unsweetened), sparkling water, lemon water, etc.

Also, just pushing myself to get a workout in when I'd otherwise be sitting on the couch. I think about the goals I want to accomplish, my DB deadlines, and then get active. I end up thanking myself for the mental kick in the butt!
