For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone

This dietbet has really pushed me in the right direction that I was so badly in need of. I hope everyone has a good weekend-Happy St. Patty’s Day! " by Connie

CONGRATULATIONS GUYS! I can't believe it's already over! So many of you have completely crushed it! I've loved all the personal emails, messages, and conversations I've had with so many of you and the incredible commitment you've had to move forward in your health.

If you reached your goal, congratulations! Amazing work! Now's the perfect time to keep that moment going. Use the next few weeks to really solidify healthy habits to lock this lifestyle into place.

If you didn't reach your goal, I have a more important message. Don't be disheartened. This is not a failure. It's a step toward your goal. The arbitrary 4% means so much less than the fact that you took steps to be a healthier, happier you. If you had trouble sticking to your goals, start every morning fresh and push forward. If you felt like you implemented changes that the scale ignored, know this. The scale sometimes sucks. Take photos. Watch how your clothes fit. Be patient with your body. Do your research. Try different nutritional strategies. If you're committed to leading a healthier life, results will follow. The only failure is refusing to keep trying.

I'm so honored to have been a part of your journey, even if only for a moment. Keep pushing. Keep grinding. Keep trying. Life is a long, exciting adventure.

Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. Be a giant!

I am kind of in shock, I have been doing Dietbets since January and have been successful in losing what I need to win each one so I’ve been counting my weight loss in 7-8 pound increments. So I just looked at my profile and saw that I’ve lost 29 pounds total and I’m just floored! I lost track of my total progress (because I don’t do math in my head:) and can’t believe I’ve actually stuck with something for ONCE in my life! This app and the leaders of the DietBet games have done something for me I could have never done alone. Keto has been the key for me also. I am really almost in tears. Good luck to everyone weighing in tomorrow :)

This was my first Diet Bet and, unfortunately, I'm not going to hit my goal this time. However, this last week I started the keto diet and it seems to be working well for me. If only I had started 2 weeks ago! It really helped me set goals for my calories and macros.
Anyway, good job everyone! The support was amazing. And thank you Iron Giantess for hosting and helping everyone!

While I'm reaching the point of accepting the fact that I'm not going to lose what I hoped, I have to admit I am struggling with not being frustrated. I'm not sure how to move on from this, because I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. That being said, I really appreciated this group and how positive All of You Are. Congratulations to all of you and keep up the good work!

Be sure to embrace the journey and not the month! I made a post on the facebook group about this. I’m not gonna make it either but I’m celebrating the positive changes I’ve made knowing physical change will happen soon. More than likely you aren’t doing anything wrong! Keep it up and continue working on each small positive change! Each day is new regardless of the scale

Alex

I’ve had really good luck with intermittent fasting and food tracking, in that order. Bumped me right out of a plateau!

Get ready for the final weigh in! Once the game ends tonight at midnight PST, you have until 11:59PM PST on Apr 12 to submit your final weight. If you're a winner, you'll be asked to submit photos and will get a new weigh-in word when you visit the weigh-in screens.

Submit early to make sure your photos are accepted, and remember - don't eat that cupcake until you get an email that your photos are approved! (If you don't get one, check your spam folder.) You must have an approved weigh-in in order to be declared a winner.

The game will finalize 24-36 hours after all weigh-ins have been submitted. Good luck!

I'm down 8 pounds doing keto over the past month, but my progress is slowing down some because I have begun baking with erythritol and monk fruit sweetener. True fact: sugar free brownies and cheesecake still have calories lol. My plan is to portion them out and put them in the freezer for emergencies :)

Way to go on your progress!!! And it’s good to have those ready go-to snacks that are there to help curve a craving. I believe that’s so smart to be prepared in advance. Great job!
