How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • We are in the home stretch! I've been thinking a lot this week about what it means to get back to basics. For me, that is upping my exercise, increasing my water intake and really watching what I eat.

One thing I really struggle doing consistently is tracking my calories. It seems silly in this day and age that I really resist doing this. With the Apps available it couldn't be easier. I just don't like to do it! I do see a difference though on the scale when I do. It's amazing how many calories I don't even realize I am consuming when I am not tracking.

What is something you struggle with doing but know it really makes a tremendous difference when you do? We can support each other! :)

I have to force myself to lift weights. I enjoy running, biking, etc., but standing around inside picking up and setting down heavy things is hard to get excited about, but it's an essential thing to do to protect and possibly even build up muscle while losing weight.

Oh, that is a good one. I enjoy lifting weights but my outdoorsy friend says the same as you! :)
