Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • Today marks the start of the last full week of our game! I am SO proud of everyone!! Thank you all so much for joining me in this game and on my journey; I couldn’t be more grateful and inspired by you all. You’ve all been working super hard obviously because we’re down almost 800lbs already!! That is AMAZING!!! I hope this game has lived up to your expectations and that you’ll join me again in my next game starting February 18th! (A week after this one ends) I lowered the bet to $30 and have a lot of fun things planned! A few tips for this last week to get you to your goal:

    -Track your food and be honest with yourself about every single thing you’re eating AND drinking! Try to pay attention to your sodium intake in particular this week as too much sodium can cause water retention. Everything adds up, so it helps to be mindful!
    -Plan ahead! If you have any parties or celebrations this week where there will be lots of goodies; plan for it! Eat right before you go or bring something with that fits your goals so you won’t be tempted to have too many treats! On the other hand, don’t beat yourself up for indulging if you’d like to because this is a lifestyle.
    -Get your water in! As we’ve talked about, water is super important for weight loss. Drinking 6-8+ glasses a day will also help with getting rid of any water retention you may be struggling with from those Super Bowl treats you may have munched on.
    -Get yourself moving more! Make a conscious effort to get up and move your body every hour. Every little bit helps! Tip: If you have a desk job like I do, set an alarm/reminder on your phone to go walk around the building or floor once an hour.

    Remember that you should be proud of yourself whether you make your goal or not. Even though this is a weight loss challenge, at the end of the day we are all more than a number on a scale. You did something that may have been out of your comfort zone to better your health, and that is something worth celebrating!!
