How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Honest question here, is anyone on WW or thinking of joining? I’ve realized that my issue is I’m not always super honest with myself when calorie counting? Aka I think, what a healthy salad, but there’s EVOO in the salad dressing that I didn’t count, etc etc. WW is currently doing a promo so I’m thinking of maybe joining, but I’m wary that it’ll be a effective while I’m doing but I’ll either be stuck with it forever, or I’ll gain a lot back when stopping

I'm currently doing Weight Watchers. It works when you actually follow the program. I know that sounds obvious but there it is. I haven't been great about sticking with the plan lately, and I can tell because I'm not losing the weight that I would like to. So this week my goal is to really stick to the plan and track everything again like I used to do. When I do that, I always have success.

For me, I’ve found that getting into a healthy habit (like counting “points,” though I’ve never tried WW) and sticking with it for a while helps me make it a lifestyle change. Then, when I get comfortable with the new lifestyle, I can relax it a little bit. I tend to keep the healthier habits in mind and try to remind myself to make good choices. WW is like any other habit- follow it and you’ll get good results. It may be easier for you than counting calories because it’s more... flexible, I guess? In the beginning of this recent weight loss journey, I found that using my Fitbit app and weighing or measuring my portions was super helpful. Whatever you decide to do, good luck and stick with it! :blush:

On track with my goal to get at least to 50 percent of my goal with my transformers. Nice! I do them for extra motivation because you guys are so inspiring and keep me on track, even though I usually can't keep up with the pace.
That being said, my weigh in for round 2 of another transformer was just approved and I can't believe I won that one! Not sure if I will keep that up without bad colds over the summer, though :)
I have been experimenting with intermittent fasting lately, mostly to balance out my blood sugar. That probably helped too. Will keep it up.
So no matter if I make it to round 6 or not, I want to thank you all for being such an inspiring, supportive group!

I've got a busy few weeks ahead in the final part of this Transform bet. Two trips to Belgium (from the Netherlands) to tell my story on an important stage - we could open up the Belgium market with this, write a lot of e-content and execute a big assignment we just obtained AND work together with a new partner. But... I'm sticking to my plan as much as I can. Round 5 goal in the pocket, now onto a strong final round!

My plan:
- carb cycling (Chris and Heidi Powell) 2 low carb days, 1 high carb, 2 lc, reset and hc.
- lots of water
- 12200 steps daily (stepbet)
- 1 - 3 times a week strength training and cardio at the gym

With this weight AND with our newest assignment I can FINALLY look forward to invest in a decent basic wardrobe. So much looking forward to that - after the way I dress has been clumsy and not doing justice to myself for so many years. This was a coping strategy for some nasty events in the past. No more! I'm gonna shine my ass off :).

  • I am officially on vacation until after Memorial Day. We were going to leave this morning to drive to Orlando but decided last night to fly instead. We fly out early tomorrow morning so we’re all staying at my sister’s place near the airport tonight. I managed to win another StepBet game today as well as another DietBet Transformer round. As of this morning’s weigh-in, my grand total lost is 183.2 pounds. I was also excited my new Mental Health Awareness shirt arrived and fit. I used to wear 3X or 4X T-shirts and this one is an XL. #progressnotperfection
