Happy Mondaaaayy!! Hope everyone is prepared for the week ahead - we are in the final stretch so let's continue to make good choices for ourselves.

It's funny because I have always had a problem with emotional eating - how I think that overeating will make me feel any better, I have no idea - I usually feel worse!

But since this diet bet started, I haven't even attempted to overeat! Saturday night I was really sad. My late husband and I loved to grill and sit outside together. It was the first night that it was warm enough to sit outside while I was grilling.

And as I looked across the table and saw the empty chair where he used to sit, I legit started crying right then and there. Grief is weird - it hits you when you least expect it. He's been gone for 4 1/2 years, but instead of turning to food, I cried it out, felt better, and ate my healthy dinner.

Have a great day guys!!

Oh condolences to you!! I lost over 200 lbs and my husband passed in 2015. Needless to say I gained 150 of the 212 back and here I am at the beginning again!!! I've lost 19 lbs in the last month and really proud to see that I CAN willingly make the proper and healthy lifestyle choices.

As bad as it hurts, I'm so glad u chose to cry it out. I know what emotional eating, convenience eating and weight gain from.alcohol feels like from grieving first hand!! Good luck on your journey!! Congrags to making good decisions.:pray:
