  • Follow up to yesterday’s post about the new trainer... I had registered for burn class, but after yesterday’s uninvigorating experience I promptly cancelled my spot. When I arrived at the gym tonight I walked past the area where burn class typically happens and one of the class participants stops me and tells me that she got new guy set straight and that they’re doing 40 seconds on 20 seconds off (the opposite of what we did yesterday.. and mind you she was the only person who showed up for class 😂) and then Michael (new guy) walks up and asks me how I’m doing and if I’m sore ???? I tried not to laugh, smiled and said I feel great and no I’m not sore. He asks me if I want to join them for the last set and I politely declined. I find it funny yet also insulting that he (although I’m sure not the only one and not the last) made an assumption about my fitness level based on my appearance. Bruh... I been coming to classes for the last two months... you been here two days.... you the rookie not me! *end rant* I then went and threw down a 30 min 400 cal arc trainer workout followed by 30 min strength training. Including dip assist which scares the crap out of me and is challenging to complete 3 sets of 15 but I did it!
