How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Good Afternoon Everyone & Happy Monday!

Question: Do you all eat back your exercise calories on MFP? Do you all put your exercises in MFP? Do some of you not track calories?

Let me know please. I’m looking to see what will work long term (months/years)

Wow I never knew the activity trackers overestimate. When I first started diet bet I would eat back my calories, but I didn’t last week and lost 3 pounds. Thank you for sharing your experiences everyone :relaxed:

If you want results you have to track atleast for a little while. You can stop after you’re better at eye-balling portions. And I believe you aren’t supposed to eat back your calories, they’re most likely not very accurate anyways so I wouldn’t bother tracking them.
