How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

I've lost every round but have been still losing this whole game, just never quite in time for the weigh in. I really want to at least win the final round. I've been trying very hard. I need the scale to cooperate!

  • Just completed a 24 hour fast. I am being extra vigilant this week. Must maintain or exceed loss. Started this game at 181 and ending at 162 or lower. I am continuing forward to my goal of 139ish. We will have to see how I look and feel once I reach goal. Love these dietbets. They keep me motivated. Good luck to us all.
    Broke my fast with steak and eggs. Keeping it low carb.

So intermittent fasting seems to be the thing that works for me. I eat one meal a day for my evening meal - I am generally never a breakfast eater and when at work don’t eat lunch as I am too busy (I am a teacher) so this suits really. On the plus side there have been lots of early nights to get me through my picky evening times and lots of walks where I can squeeze them in, mainly of a weekend.

I’m doing 16:8 but think I need to move up to 18:6. I am going to try a whole day fast tomorrow just to make the adjustment easier.

I started 2020 off at the highest weight I've EVER been. I am starting 2021 off at 120lbs less than that and sooo close to my lowest weight in almost 15 years!! I have less than 40lbs to go to my goal! I was a 4xl and yesterday I wore LARGE scrubs! WOW!! It has NOT been easy, sometimes seemed impossible but keep pushing you guys!! It's ALL THE WAY WORTH IT!!!

Holy cow only nine days?! Wow! I have to say that as my diet fluctuated so did my weight one week I could be down to 251.2 and have a 2 day slip up and be back to 257.6 all from not eating right and being lazy.
I’ve joined the next one which half of it I will be dieting and the middle portion is exercise diet and the last is a heavier focus on exercise with macros involved *fingers crossed*
I’ve been doing keto for a good portion and slacked off for a couple months. But it is a long term goal and a longer process. Weight loss is harder than gain. I have been learning diligence and resilience- here’s to being strong again!!!

You should check out Gin Stephens Delay Don’t Deny. She does Intermittent Fasting. She has a FB group and 2 podcasts. I started with keto and transitioned to IF. I love it and think keto helped ease me into it.

Get ready for the final weigh-in for Round 6! This is the last weigh-in of the game! Once the game ends on Jan 26 at midnight PST, you have until 11:59PM PST on Jan 28 to submit your final weight for the round. This is the last time you will be able to record your weight in the game, so please submit a weigh-in even if you have not reached your 10% goal.

Once the weigh-in period begins, you will get a new weigh-in word when you visit the game. Submit early to make sure your photos are accepted, and look for an email that confirms your photos are approved! (If you don't get one, check your spam folder.) You must have an approved weigh-in in order to be declared a winner for this round.

The game will finalize 24-36 hours after all weigh-ins have been submitted. Good luck!
