Starting my first fast! Decided on the 5:2 method. 2 days per week you fast but can consume up to 500 calories. Also taking the advice from some of you beautiful people and starting my fasting at 5pm, so that each day I have a meal to look forward to.

When I've done the 5:2 in the past, I tried to maximise the amount of food I could eat for 500 calories, so minimum carbs, lots of protein and veg.
