  • Sustainability. Something that took so long to click for me. I thought there was only 1 way I lose weight and it had to be extremely clean eating and killing my self in the gym 7 days a week. If I strayed from that at all.... I was a “failure”

    And THAT is why I could never lose weight. In the same cycle over and over and over. FINALLY once I realized that I could eat foods I loved, I didn’t have to DREAD each meal, I could find workouts I actually enjoyed.... I was successful.

    No. The one meal you ate at the restaurant didn’t ruin any progress. YES, its okay to eat a donut with your family on Sunday. You don’t need a half dozen of them. You skipped the gym to spend time with family? THATS OKAYYYYY

    STOP putting unrealistic expectations on yourself and then beating yourself up when you don’t stick to them. BALANCE.
