Let's talk goals!

Is this game it? Does it encompass your short and long term goal, or is a stepping stone?

If it is a stepping stone, what's your longer term goal? Ultimate goal?

Personally I like to have the very vague, very low-pressure "be stronger and healthier Ultimate Goal". Because I don't know when/if the end point of that is. And putting firm numbers on that makes me, personally, freeze.
I like putting small chunks on things. "My next goal is to knock xx seconds off of my mile time" or "lose 1% body fat" or "lose 5 pounds".

But different things work for different people! A good friend of mine is doing very well with one big general goal of "lose 75 pounds". She's over halfway there. No freezing, just plugging along, it's very cool.

So - what are your goals (or goal) that you are cool sharing with the class?

I do a lot of pilates and my goal is to lessen the fat around my midsection so I can do teaser better. It's vague but I will know it when I feel it.
