For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Didn't make my round 1 goal, but did loose a bit. I had started out strong and lost a few pounds, but that seems to put a false sense of accomplishment in my mind and I think, "Oh, I'm doing great, a little extra (fill in the blank) won't be a problem," or, "I can skip the walk and get straight to work, I'll go tomorrow." It's a pattern I have that I'm totally aware of yet don't fight back on my mental bargaining.

That being said, I already feel like I've made the right decision joining this group challenge because normally failing like this would cause me to turtle up, ignore the weigh in, and just think, "Well, if nothing's going to change, why fight it?" And treat my body like crap for a few days. But seeing everyone's posts, especially the ones about not quite making goals, made me feel not so alone in this constant struggle and to set my sights forward. I'm not a "sharer" and I would definitely file a post like this under "things I would never say out loud" but even though I missed the mark, I don't feel like being a turtle today because of this group. Good luck for the next round everyone!
