How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Finally got the courage to weigh in and actually start this challenge! I have already slipped into my same habits of ordering junk on DoorDash but at least I stopped a potential binge-eating episode and put half of my order away. Old me would have continued to binge eat until everything was gone and I would be so uncomfortable. Anybody else struggle with binge eating and any tips on how to stop? Tomorrow is a new day!

No helpful tips…just commit and do it. Make yourself busy. Clean out some drawers or cabinets! Or take everything out of your fridge and clean it!

Therapy! I have binge eating disorder + bulimia ( used to ). The most helpful thing has been therapy and working with providers to work against it + hormonal disorders. It’s hard and a lot of people don’t understand it and the worst thing people can do is to tell someone with BED to simply stop eating or cut entire food groups out. Keto/low carb always ended with me binging and just gaining. There are still some foods I have to just not buy because I will inevitable binge on them, but I don’t cut any certain groups out. I am -100 from my highest weight due to treatment + staying active + being mindful of a *balanced* diet.
