How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hello everyone! It’s my first time doing a dietbet. But I have been working on losing weight for over a month now and I went from 252lbs to 236 lbs. I went into a plateau so I decided to bet on myself (get the joke lol) and try something different. I started counting my calories and adding a walk outside with my kiddos. I’m excited and hope this is the right thing to get me back on track.

Excellent progress! Keep posting here for accountability and encouragement! And if you have any advice to provide to others, I find that ends up encouraging me (when I share tips with others) too!

I hope it’s going well for you and that you’ve crushed the plateau!
