I’m surprised because mentally, I was hoping the scale would be lower today, but I did lose two pounds going into my period week, so I guess I’ll take the win. I’m also doing a smaller calorie deficit than the last time I lost weight, so I am losing more sustainably even if it’s slower. Fingers crossed that I don’t lose motivation, because I really want to be able to fit into my old clothes again. I’ve been holding off buying new clothes because I felt like the weight gain was so much quicker this time around than any previous times I’ve lost weight (thanks, perimenopause). I know losing even 5% of my body weight will help so much with hormonal crap that I just have to keep doing this. Anyway, happy Friday, y’all.
