How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I'm down a little over 16 pounds since starting this game on January 1st. I have a lot more to go and will be thrilled to see 199.9 but that's still more than 40 pounds for me to go and want to get to the 150s hopefully. I am staying consistent with drinking at least 80 ounces of water a day, cut way back on snacking, watching calorie and fat grams intake and try to
find time to walk several times a week. I am not depriving myself from food favorites. I just have less and save for the next day if possible.
There were times that the scale didn't move for several days. I keep doing my thing, push harder and eventually the numbers on the scale go down.
I'm just proud of myself that I took the initiative to join this bet with so many unknowns and not knowing if I'll keep the same mindset. I may get a set back, but keep pushing forward.
Be proud of your accomplishments too. Joining was a huge 1st step.
We can all do this together. You're not alone.
