For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Is there a way that I can verify that it is submitted for a progress weigh-in? I was expecting for it not to say 'submit unofficial weigh-in'

Sorry about the confusion! Unofficial weigh-ins can be entered by all. We encourage players to submit unofficial weigh-ins regularly throughout the game to help keep you more accountable.
Your game dashboard should reflect that your initial weigh-in was received and if, as a member you submit a weekly weigh-in (when prompted between Thursday and the following Wednesday), that will count as your entry for the weekly Progress Weigh-in!
