Usually when things do not work out (weight loss wise) , I cry, binge, freak out and spend days angry and bitter about it. But not this time. I started this diet bet with a cocky attitude, believing that I would lose the 4% in a week, let alone a month. I worked hard for the first 2 weeks, eating clean and doing an hour workout a day. And I gained. Big time. I did not understand it. I still dont. But I no longer will focus on what the scales tell me because I know that I have changed. I feel better, can jog longer and faster than before. My legs, arms and shoulders are much more defined. I can get through a Blogilates video now whereas before I would give up midway through. And I actually enjoy working out. So I may not have completed my goal this time round but I have learned so much and have much a better attitude towards health, fitness and life in general.
