Dear dietbet friend- You have been selected because you have inspired/ encouraged/ liked a post/ or in some way helped me and I thank you for that! Now I hope we can help each other-- I am starting a dietbet called Forget the Fudge ( http://diet.bt/in8Zw ), and people are needed!! My friends outside dietbet are, for a multitude of reasons/excuses, not joining, so I am appealing to you, my DB ppl who have helped me get down about 60#. I still have about 15# to go. Can you help and finish off 2014 better than you started?

You are a rockstar! Our starting weights are pretty darn close. You are such an inspiration! You are so close to your goal weight - keep rocking it out!

Thanks for the post. I still take it 1 day at a time and make sure I get my run in and eat "sensibly". When I think about going to Godfathers Pizza for their buffet and stuffing myself with taco and dessert pizza I look back at my chart and pictures and think NEVER AGAIN!!!! I am proud of you and I hope you are very proud of yourself for losing 42 pounds in just over 2 months. That is really great!!! Keep up the hard work.

Hey! Im doing good, how are you? I wish I could join your dietbet's but I have reached my overall goal weight. My BMI is now 21 which is really healthy for my height and since Im so tall(5'9), anything below this would look unhealthy. I wish you the best of luck in your games! Keep up the good work. You have really been doing great.

Saw your post on Jeremy's board so had to come and see the details. Was curious to see how many games you participated in along the way. You are the poster child for self determination. Don't think I can match your effort, but plan to keep trying to make better choices every day and figure out how to do this once and for all.

Thank you. Believe me the chart may make it look easy but it was not! It was simple but not easy. Weight loss is so simple, just eat healthy (LOW carbs and LOW sodium) and exercise and bang you will lose a lot of weight. Simple but not easy. Especially since I love salty (high sodium) foods. Really if you just try to follow that bit of advice I think anyone can be very successful in weight loss. I wish you luck and just think if you really commit to this in 3-4 months you can see drastic results and be happy & healthy! Good luck and keep me updated on how you are doing.

Hi Robert
Just wanted to check in. I've been cutting back on the training a bit lately, and one day I even went crazy and ate almost 2500 cal. I now have to step the work out up and cut back on the "slow" exercise, which takes up to much time. Did manage to drop around 5 pounds over the easter, but for once winning the dietbets seems a bit hard. Oh and Robert just for record, I will beat you ;-)

Robert R.

Hi there Steen. You may catch up and beat me but I'll be taking a break from Diet Bet in about 2 weeks as I'll be on vacation from May 12th thru June 16th. I am currently 103.87KG and plan on stopping my weight loss at 95.25KG which I hope to be on May 12th. After that I'm just going to try and maintain a weight between 90.72KG and 95.25KG. I am now running 13 kilometers every morning and walking 8 kilometers in the evening with my wife and daughter. As long as I eat low carbs and low sodium my weight just keeps dropping. Good luck and lets keep up the competition! I need the motivation.

I have your lifetime change in Kg (-46,5kg) and had to look it up to find out how many pounds. 100 Lb = 45.359237 kilograms. So you lost 100 (and so did I). We are not doing too bad I guess ;-)

And by the way. I looks like you need a new profile picture.

Robert R.

I updated the photo. Can you tell a difference?

Steen W.

Robert look out! Looks like your younger brother has hacked into your account and replaced your profile picture. Set him straight.
