I need to get back to feeling like myself. It's the first time ever being this heavy and it's taking its toll on me. I am always tired, lack motivation, can't focus, completely out of my comfort zone. Need to get back to the way I used to be.

Good attitude....I agree, the scale is not the end result. If you are working at you have to consider muscle growth, and we all know it weighs more than fat.

Measurements are a great way to track progress, but if you're feeling better, more energetic and healthy, well you're a winner.

Keep up the great work!

Good for you Diane! 4 miles on day one is huge! And of course the calories burned is a great payback, never mind the changes you are making to your body! Keep up the great work and know that your blogs are inspirational to me! Thanks for sharing!!

Great attitude! I had foot surgery 5 years ago and it limits me somewhat to the exercises I can do. I've gained a lot of weight due to this but I'm ready to buckle down and do what I need to do to achieve my goal. (turning 60 in December doesn't help either...lol).
What type of leg work out are you doing?
Good Luck...we've got this!
