I love how positive you are ;))) .
...& 2in off you waist is no small feat....
.....that's great news & you should be congratulating
yourself for that rather large feat ;))))
I know we all want this to go away overnight.....
But..... We need to remember....
.we didn't get here overnight.
..it's gonna take time to undo what has been done.
I've learned (although I don't like it )....... Slow & steady keeps it off
So keep up the great work Camber.....one. Day at a time ;)))))))

I was going to write something very close to this tonight ;)))) It still amazes me when I read others blogs, how we all feel the same. The good thing is we are starting to see the change in ourselves,.....feeling better about ourselves......and overall becoming happier & healthier versions of ourselves.
Great post Camber, keep up the amazing work. ;))))

It's so true, I have spent way too much time hiding my size away at home and now that I'm losing, I have done things I wouldn't have had the courage to do just 6 months ago! (Including running a 5k in September) I appreciate all of your encouragement and you should be proud of your progress and the changes you are making Camber! Keep going girl!!!

Your doing great Camber, she was just a strange bird ;))) ..... It had nothing to do with you. Just keep positive, keep your head held high & I'm sure sooner or later you will find a good lift partner.. Sometimes we just have to shake our heads & move on ;)) again it wasn't you & she didn't reject you, she's just strange ;)))) lol

Cam

So I did go to the gym this morning at 5am instead of the usualy 7pm. I may avoid the 7pm thing for a while...lol. But hey, I got mine in even before work (795 calorie deficit to start my day) crazy mean gym lady or not, Im gonna get it :-) Thanks for the supportive comment. You guys keep me smiling!!

thank you for sharing this, i know it is probably hard to talk about! My mom was very critical about my looks when i was growing up and i think that is part of the reason i have no self confidence. I replay this scene in my head where she told me that soon I'd be as big as the house. I'm trying to love myself so my son can learn how to love himself too. Teach by example right? Trying to like myself no matter what weight i'm at but it's hard. I go to food if i'm depressed and it makes me more depressed. That's why I'm making a change :) We can do this!

Chrissy

Thanks for sharing, I know how hard it is to do, it was for me, more because I have to be honest with myself. But, as I've been discovering, it has helped. YOU ARE WORTH IT.... Try not to let her get to you. Your doing great thus far & we are here for you.
I have a very distorted view on food myself thanks to my mother so I can totally relate.

Hi Camber - very interesting perspective! I tended to overeat both to celebrate and to commiserate. As you say, the key is finding constructive ways to deal with both the highs and the lows. Good luck in your journey - it sounds like you have great self-awareness, which should serve you well! :)

You are defiantly not alone, my biggest problem is late night eating & the stuff I shove in my mouth. I've been trying not to eat after 7pm & yes I know the feeling.... My mind just won't stop thinking about food, for me it's candy, cookies etc. I've been drinking green teas & tons of water & just not listening to myself.

Dave M.

Agreed. When I'm hungry at night, I think of the fitness saying "pain is fear leaving the body" -- maybe the late-night-eating equivalent is "late night hunger is really fat cells in their death throes"? Meh, clearly I'm no poet :-)

I do find that I wake up less hungry than when I went to bed -- which always surprises me.
