  • I didn’t make my goal weight, but I’m so fucking proud of myself. I know I wouldn’t have lost this much weight in 1 months had I not joined this game. I might now win, but I’d rather get skinny with my wallet than stay fat 😂

  • I don’t think I will be able to make the weigh in this month, but today I weighed the lowest in 1.5 years! (Note, I gained all 60 pounds over Covid. I have a super depressing graph of me gaining weight, but I’m finally losing some!)
    I hope I can make my final goal weight for this challenge!

That's so awesome! Same here, I'm not sure if I'll make it this weigh-in but it'll be really close, maybe just a pound off, but this is the lowest ive been in a couple of years. I'm pretty amazed at how effective this has been for me!Usually I lose 5 pounds and gain it back then lose five pounds, then gain it back. Slow and steady right, as long as we make our final goal!

What do you do when you have a ton of holidays and you can’t put the food on a scale before you eat it? I’m Jewish (but not religious) and I can’t even bring my phone with me to meals because they don’t use electronics on holidays. How do I do this? I’m very scared to go over my calorie goals unintentionally…

I started Wondr recently and plate portioning like above was mentioned. What I have found most helpful is to slow down my eating, savor the meal, eat with all the senses more slowly. It felt painfully slow at first. But with practice it really helped me eat less. The main thing was stopping every twenty minutes or so to asses if I was full. Stop when full. I did diet bet to hold myself to account for all the upcoming Holidays. Best of luck!

I follow a plating method also. I fill half my plate with veggies, a quarter protein, a quarter carbs. If it’s a holiday, and I want seconds, I start with veggies. (I’m also human and go off track, but this is what I try to do.)
