  • From 272lbs on the left down to 202lbs on the right. At my highest weight walking a mile seemed like a big task, yesterday I ran a 10k! I’m a SLOW runner, but the version of me on the left would be so proud of me now ?

I wish I could run again! I have osteoarthritis in both knees. I am getting gell injections as soon as my insurance allows them. Every pound I drop takes pressure off my knees. I owe it to my body to finally get to a healthy weight and stay there. Hopefully, after the gell injections I will be able to run again!

Walking my dog through snow is like double the exercise too, I think. At one point, I thought this is like trying to run uphill through sand. I put my yak tracks on the bottom of my boots this morning and it helped me get a better grip.
