I always over eat on the weekends. Tho I didn’t eat take-out I had a few extra treats that won’t help me meet my goals. I need to do this for myself, without the sabotage. Help!

Celebrate the win! Do you track what you eat? Writing it down helps me on the weekends. I typically track on an app, but seeing it on the fridge is helpful for me.

  • Good morning! It’s workout Wednesday!

    What’s your preferred workout? When the weather is nice, I love to get out to a local park and go for a walk/run around the lake. Something about being out there just helps to reset my brain. But if the weather is gross, like today, I’ll hit the gym for some treadmill time and weights.

I weigh-in and take measurements every Wednesday. Last week, I was the lowest I've been since the start of the year. Today, I'm back up to almost my heaviest and no loss in measurements. I'm recovering from being congested and not sleeping, so I know that has something to do with it, but dang! I've been doing a great job with strength and cardio, and my nutrition is just about as dialed in as it can be at this point in life. I was a personal trainer in my previous life, so I know the ins and outs of how rest and hormones and all of that affect weight loss, but experiencing it is incredibly frustrating. If you're struggling, know you're not alone, but don't give up. Shake it off and keep moving.

    My weekend starts today but it’s not going to be relaxing. We have kid stuff all weekend along with the standard adult stuff of groceries and laundry. But with it being grocery day, it means I can get little snackies to bring along on the hours long adventures to the school gyms watching kids play volleyball😆

    What’s your favorite snack to bring along on your adventures? (Going grocery shopping is a regular adventure here)
