So happy that you stiffened your back and are ready to turn it around Annie. I will hope for you a better 2nd quarter. Hugs:)

I think we are on the same "schedule", Annie! Not the events of course but other distractions. I started logging food again on Monday. The important thing is to keep on starting. :-) Go us!

WOW....................you know you have arrived at a new place in your life when you can accept that food is not the answer for feelings! Proud of you Annie. Tough stuff. I hope for you that ultimately you get the last laugh, and sometimes that is in something as simple as this. You stiffened your back, allowed yourself all of those feeling and moved on without sabotaging everything else you have done! Today is a new day - I hope for you a beautiful one!

They say "revelations are windows into our true selves" & how true that is! What a huge step(s) for you to let yourself dig deep & actually feel your feelings. Good things can happen from bad things & you just did that! How great is that, that you learned that you cannot let a job "define" you. A quote that I think is fitting: "Steve Jobs — ‘Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. I think you're terrific & I'm so incredibly proud of you. You have come so far since I've met you on DB & applaud you for your courage! <3

So glad to hear you're doing well! :) You are blessed.

This is a great saying that comes to mind: "The more energy you waste comparing your life to someone else’s, the less energy you have to be who YOU are, to share YOUR gifts, and to access and experience the profound level of health, wealth, and beauty that come along as a result of YOU BEING YOU." With that being said, what you went thru is important & was part of your life. So...I think you're courageous & thank you for allowing us to share in your journey. You are an inspiration!

Hopefully having all of that behind you will be a good thing. Feel better and start moving - slowly but surely:)

Hang in there and give yourself a chance to recover! Gall bladder removal is major surgery, people used to be laidd up for weeks afterwards. Even though the way they do it is less invasive you still had anesthesia and that takes time to get out of your body. Anesthesia can cause you to hold water and pain meds can constipate you, so in time you will probably see a drop the helps you stay on track and win your bets.
