So wonderful to be grateful!!! I have regained some weight, and discouragement threatens my heart and mind at every turn, so that is my battle today! We wonder sometimes what God wants from us - well, I am SURE of this: "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you!" So today, thanks to finding your post, I am giving thanks for times of discouragement and setback, because they give me the opportunity to gain strength and patience as I battle forward. You GO, girl!!

Thanks! Gray days definitely give me gray moods; I'll have to get myself some rose-colored glasses. :)

Great post. It got me thinking. I just bought some sparkling Voss water (for the glass bottle really). I might try using a wine glass, chilled sparkling water and put some fruit chunks on my swizzle stick or even cuccumber chunks (not olives that I love because they have high salt) I wonder maybe I could freeze the fruit chunks on the sticks and then grab them for the water as desired. Low calories and a little added flavor. On rough days I cold splash some vodka in there! ;-) Thanks for getting me thinking about that. Its really, for me, the glass I drink it in, changes my mood. I guess I am kinda strange like that! Thank you for posting!

Kristin

Those Voss bottles are pretty. And I like your idea of fruit or cucumber chunks.

I've had knee injuries to deal with so I avoid jumping jacks too. If they come up in workouts I just do what Tania in Shaun T's T25 program does as a modification. It's just stepping out with one leg at a time while moving your arms up and down like a normal jack. I'm not sure if that description makes sense, but it gives you the range of motion and gets the blood flowing without the trouble of jumping :-). I'm glad to see that you've come back. We all need some breaks at times. Hope the next month is a great one for you!

It's great that you're back on track now and that you have such concrete plans.I'm rooting for you!

Great job! I know getting out and away from the house at least once a day helps. And I will never outgrow the beauty of the sunrise. :)

Oh I am so sorry for this moment in your life. I wish I could do something to make it better, but I can't. I have never done a transformer challenge. I was thinking of trying it in July or August as someone described the last two months as more maintenance. I need to lose 8 pounds a month until October, give or take a month! So I don't know if you lost too much or two little. BUT you are a winner when it comes to making changes toward a healthly lifestyle!

GeminiWitch83 Amanda

You are still doing awesome! I am sorry for your loss and the issues you're dealing with right now. But do not get discouraged. You are still taking time to focus on yourself and that is never a bad thing. Sometimes life makes it hard to reach goals we set for ourselves, but doing something to move forward is always better than moving backward. You are amazing! You will get through this!!!
