How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

May 17 - Day Two!

What are the typical foods you eat on a weekend when you're not trying to lose weight? I thought maybe we could post some of our favorite indulgent type of foods to see if we could come up with healthier alternatives.

People who have participated in a previous Fitbit Fanatics DietBet already know this one, but it's one of my favorites. And I think it bares repeating. One of mine is pizza.

One of my favorite ways to have "pizza" is by making the crust out of the famous two ingredient dough. If you haven't heard about two ingredient dough, it's made from just plain non-fat Greek yogurt and self rising flour. The dough is so versatile. I follow the recipe from Skinnytaste as I rarely have self rising flour on hand.

Recipe link here >> https://www.skinnytaste.com/easy-bagel-recipe/

To make the pizza crust, I split the dough from the recipe above in two equal parts. One half equals one pizza. I wrap the other half in wax paper and put in a container to store in the fridge.

Roll it out just like normal. I spritz with a little EVOO and place on a silicon mat. Then bake at 425 until golden brown. Then you take it out and add the sauce and other toppings as well as other seasonings. Put back in the oven until the cheese is melted.

I keep it simple. I use marina from this recipe (https://theskinnyishdish.com/crockpot-marinara/ - it makes a HUGE batch that you can freeze for later). Top with some pizza seasonings and some Trader Joe's lite mozzarella cheese on top. See picture in comments. So yummy!

For the pizza I make, here are the nutritional stats:
355 calories for the WHOLE pizza > 6g fat, 48g carbs, 28g protein
*Note that the nutrition info does not include the marinara.

I like anything with cheese. Trying to focus on moderation instead of exclusion!
