So this dietbet I was stuck at my exact weigh in weight THE ENTIRE TIME. Out of curiosity I started weighing in the morning and night of course at night I would be a couple pounds up but in the morning I'd be right back at my starting weight. Of course I was bummed about probably losing the diet bet but honestly this is the lowest weight I've been at for years (and aside from numbers it is by FAR the most athletic I've been since I was a 3 sport -each -season athlete in highschool training 6+ hours a day. When I balanced everything out I was still happy, not losing numbers but feeling a lot better about my strength and abilities. Well a few days ago I got really serious about getting back into consistent intermittent fasting, and in the last 3 days I've lost a pound each morning I step on the scale. I don't know if I was accidentally miscalculating calories which the IF helped fix (weird since I've been weight almost all meals), or if it was just that acknowledging positive feelings about my body as-is took the stress off myself and made it easier to make progress. I don't know! Right now I'm about half way to the goal so I have zero clue if I'll win this bet either way feeling very happy about my recent experiences with my body.

Great job!! I have been doing 16:8 for 2 weeks now. The first week I lost 3lbs and this last week I stayed the same weight. I ate more calories on the 2nd week. I’m under the impression that you are to eat your normal amount of calories. I eat 1100-1500 daily. No??? Cheyenne, what is your schedule for fasting and what’s your caloric intake?
What’s evveyone else doing? Just trying to figure out how to properly IF!!

Kelly, yes the best way to healthily do IF is to still hit your target calories within your window. I've been doing 16:8 lately as well and aiming for between 1200- 1400 calories.
