How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

New to these diet bets. I know the goal is 10% in 6 months. If I lose more than 10%, is that okay? Because, I definitely need to do more than that and will work my hardest. Need to get in shape, for my health. Too many injuries over a few years added up, I'm at my worst ever. Blood pressure shot up. Hoping to bring it down and be healthy and able to do stuff again.

You can do this. It's very realistically done. We're all here supporting and cheering you on. At any time you can get official support by asking a question of the very helpful help desk. They are awesome. Go for it.:raised_hands::relaxed:

@korey I understand this. And I know they don't want us losing too much. It's just...I need to be losing a lot. 10% won't even get me below 20% body fat. So, I'm going to work as hard as possible and hopefully be the fittest I've been in a long time. Just not trying to get disqualified in the process. I weigh around 270 right now, I want to get down to 205 eventually. Probably won't hit that in 6 months, but definitely aiming for more than 10% overall.

Whatever happens happens though. I just want to feel good again, be more athletic again. Don't need to be short of breath going up stairs. Also planning on working in flexibility, strength, endurance and speed...not just weight loss.

And hey, if I do end up losing too much...whatever. Will be a personal win to get back to where I should be.
