How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

How we feeling???

We have a big temptation weekend coming up (well, most of us). Who has plans?? I used to go all out for Halloween, even won a handful of costume contests! Now...I'm #oldmanstatus and just don't have the energy.

I'm a bit lucky, we live on a busier street so in the 4 years we've lived here, I have had exactly 3 trick or treaters total....so this year, I'm skipping buying candy and that will help me not eat all the 100 grands and baby ruths ;) I'm going to make homemade pizzas with the kids and I bought a chocolate haunted house for us to build together - that'll be tempting but hopefully I'll only have a bit.

How to survive:
1. Remember, it's one day. One day will NOT make or break you, if you can treat it as ONE day, enjoy it reasonably. Have a bit of chocolate (maybe actually pay attention to the serving size and respect it ;)). Just remember to not let it derail you and turn into 3 or 4 days :)
2. Make a plan! If you're pretty sure you're gonna have too much candy...buy less! Or, make a point to be extra generous an hour or so before the kids start disappearing from the streets - just get it out of the house ;)
3. Save a couple of your faves and say "I'll eat these when I win my weigh-in!"

I like haunted houses too but yeah i feel like those would be hard!!

Any scary movie recommendations?? And yummm to the taffy apple! I wonder if theres a “healthier” version since its an apple to start with...like lower sugar caramel or somethin

Cherry R.

I have a sensitive bone to watching scary movies. I usually start watching and then pause the movie to get my heart rate to slow down. LOL

On Netflix, I see movies like Jacob's Ladder and Bird Box, which l have never seen before. So l am thinking about watching those two movies this weekend.
