WEEK 4
You’ve completed the Gut Check program, now what. Well first of all, congratulations I hope you are feeling a whole lot better and have learned more about your body. 4 weeks is a great start to healing your body, but I will tell you this, repairing the gut and rebalancing the biome takes time so you might want to consider ordering your replenisher kit.

If you would like to get a better idea of what foods you can add back in and what foods need to stay out of your diet, here is how you to do it.

Pick one food, lets use yogurt as an example. This is dairy and this will be the only dairy that you add back in for 3 days. Everything else stays the exact same as when you were on the program. Over the course of the 3 days add yogurt in to 1 meal. Pay attention to how your body responds over the course of the first hour after eating it, the rest of the day and the 3 days. Do you get more mucus, do you bloat more, are you getting cramps or lose stool? Did any of your other symptoms come back? If so dairy is probably something you want to keep out of your diet. Go back to eliminating dairy and follow the Gut Check program for 3 days to remove that stressor from your body completely.

Now your ready to try the next food. Maybe its gluten. Pick a food that contains gluten and repeat what you did for dairy. Add it in for 3 days, take note of how you feel & if any of your symptoms come back. If they do, keep it out of your diet. If they don’t, its ok to keep it in but I would still advise to make it minimal.

Continue with this until you’ve tested all of the major categories.

In terms of Alcohol you have to pay attention to what types you are adding back in. Beer can have gluten in it because of the wheat. Its a great idea to continue to follow my Portion Fix guidelines for how many alcoholic beverages you can have in a week. The same goes for sugar.

So apparently I’m not the only one who’s had this problem I would really like to hear back, it is very discouraging to bust your ass & you told that you didn’t eat the back!!! And if anybody else is experiencing this problem please post!
