How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

This is how I know my mindset has shifted and that things are truly different this time. (I can’t even count how many times I’ve said that before and quit…)

I weighed in this morning, not feeling too hopeful as I went a bit over my calorie limit both days this weekend. I stepped on the scale and I’m down .6 pounds, not a major loss but I’m happy I didn’t gain! I had a very big weight loss goal this month because I have a high starting weight. I was feeling hopeful in the beginning but now I’m realizing I won’t be able to hit my DietBet goal this month.

But you know what? That’s okay! I’m currently down 6.8 pounds this month! The first time in a long time that I haven’t gained weight, especially during covid. And another bonus, I have 2 pairs of jeans that wouldn’t even zip/button that I can now actually wear!

I may not have been able to lose my overall monthly goal, but I’m heading in the right direction and I’m feeling so confident. Instead of focusing on how I could’ve done better last week, or simply quitting due to being frustrated, I know I can buckle down and end the month strong.
