How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

So upset!! I totally made weight but they didn’t accept it because I had sunglasses on top of my head. But we were headed out of town already by the time I got that. So we stopped and bought a scale. But my phone camera would not capture the numbers. It was like photographing a computer screen and kept blacking out a piece of it. So we had to find a shady parking space along the road and then that picture wasn’t accepted because asphalt isn’t flat. Which is understandable… but then we were camping an hour out of cell service range so I never got to submit a “valid” photo. 😩 reeeeeeeLly could have used the money.

Sounds like mine. Totally spaced the weigh out then was able to get ahold of someone else coming up the mountain who brought a scale.... that wasn't digital. So drove back down the mountain and into town at 10 at night and barely made it before they closed and was able to buy a digital one and get back with not much time to take pics and send in. It was a crazy mess

Oh no, has this resolved? One time I had a weigh-in that had already been approved get rejected on re-use because they said it looked like the scale was partly on a rug in one of the pics, when it was clear (and obv had been to the first person) that it was just the angle of the shot. But now I make sure the rug is WAY out of way, anyway.
