I've been completely "off my program" the past five days. That's what my mom calls it when she breaks her good habits for a bit. I'm in grad school and my stat class just ended. The final paper and presentation was due last night. I've never struggled so much to do a final paper. Usually, the hardest parts are coming up with the topic and finding the motivation to actually sit down and do it. But this wasn't a traditional paper but rather a research design. My professor wasn't great- super nice but really vague and honestly, I feel like I didn't learn much. Anyway, the anxiety has been overwhelming. The crisis of confidence and feelings of intellectual inadequacy weren't a picnic either.

I binged. A lot. Okay, it could have been worse but it was the first time I really backslid since the start of this bet. But I'm "back on my program" today. We're not defined by the fall, we're defined by the getting back up. Let's do this!
