How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I've been staying isolated in my room the last three days in hopes that I don't spread this Covid to my husband. Once the fever spiked, getting up wasn't really an option anyway.

I've *tried* to eat as much as I can, but it's been hard. I ended up losing two pounds over three days; I suppose it could have been worse. My fever has dropped three degrees as of this morning, so food doesn't sound totally disgusting anymore, though nothing sounds appetizing, either. My guess is I'll be back up to where I started within two or three days (which is as it should be -- getting healthy is more important than winning this round of the bet. I do think I'm still in the running even if I gain it back, though, because of the large initial loss during week one).

What are some healthy but bland foods? I've managed chicken broth with carrots and celery, plain Greek yogurt with frozen mango, a pear, and roasted sweet potato. I had a scrambled egg this morning, but that was a bit rough. Rice and raw or leafy vegetables sound especially gross. Popcorn sounds good, but my throat is so inflamed I think it would hurt. I'm open to any tips!

Raw beef heart is the most neutral thing I’ve ever eaten actually and insanely nutritious.

Bone broth is great too!
