How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • Happy Monday! Welcome everyone! It's day one and we are here to crush our goals! If you haven't already, please introduce yourself and let us know where you are on your journey!

    I start every game with a post like this because it's so important to start off with goals and a plan!

    I recommend taking a moment to set some personal goals for this game. Once you've determined what your goals are (drink more water, workout goals, practice gratitude, sleep routine, etc), the key to success is having a SOLID PLAN in place and studies show that putting it in writing helps.

    Plan your meals - Write down what you're having each day and have the ingredients on hand. Meal prep can really help, too! This leaves no reason why you have to go out or grab something quick that may not be as healthy.

    Plan your workouts - Treat them like work and show up even if you don't want to go. You are the boss and you need to be tough on yourself. You'll always be glad you did!

    Track your water intake - Water is essential and we have to drink it! For some of us it comes naturally but for others, it's a chore. Find a way that helps you enjoy it and make it happen!

    Track your food - It's easy to forget about those little "grabs" we do when we see snacks on the table. This will keep it real. Whether it's writing it down or just taking photos, the accountability really helps!

    Get enough sleep - Getting adequate, quality sleep is an important part of a healthy weight loss plan.

    Have fun and relax - Self care is important too!

Hi - I’m Cindy from Southern California and it’s been awhile since I’ve been on a DB challenge. Looking to get back into it - I have a goal of losing 30lbs in 6 months, continue strong exercise, increase muscle tone and stamina, and enjoy new recipes that are healthy and tasty!

I’m hitting all the metrics this month that you outlined - I’m happy my sleep is getting better and I’m drinking way more water and planning all my meals. I have two work out classes per week (weights/body sculpting) - at least 4 30 minute brisk walks (sometimes longer - like today it was 90 minutes), and a weightlifting session in the gym on the weekends.
