How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Hey everyone!

I had the chance to check out this podcast episode over the past weekend. In it, there is an interview of a Harvard professor of Biology about why losing weight is so hard. It is worth a listen if you have Spotify!

My key takeaway is that the human body does not WANT to lose weight, which is what can make it so difficult for us to do.

So give yourself yourself some grace; this is supposed to feel like a battle! We all got this!

Thanks I’m looking forward to listening! Parallels other things I’ve read - across human history, famine was way more of a threat - we are incredibly adapted to not let go of fat.

I agree, grace is important and shame is not helpful! Good luck!

Love this kind of stuff. Thanks for sharing Andrew. Already listening right now.
