How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What happens if you lose more than the goal? I'm supposed to be 325 in ten days but I'm 324 right now. I started at 338 and usually the first week I'll lose a lot because I eat a little less and move more.

Well done! That’s awesome. Keep up the good work.

In order to win you need to keep the weight off and weigh in when the game ends. I’ve sometimes hit the weight goal early, only to pile it on before the end of game weigh in. Don’t do a me!

Players can be disqualified for losing “12% of [their] initial weight or more” so that games don’t encourage “drastic, unhealthy weight loss.”

With a starting weight of 338, you have to go to <298 for that to apply (I think, not sure how the rounding works, I’d stay at or above 299 if that were me just to be sure).

I often find I lose more much faster in first weeks of lifestyle change and then the rate of change slows. YMMV.
